Is the acrylic painting landscape simple to hang? The answer is a big YES. Depending on the way you use and the place you put, those paintings are still able to shine differently. The more you experiment, the more various beauty you get! Let’s scroll on and find out the reasons why you should buy an acrylic painting to your house right now.

Reason #1: Acrylic paintings can adjust all spaces
You’ve also heard reports about artists who are so committed to drawing that they’ve been using their bedroom as a studio. But one of the most expensive aspects — both for your finances and for your health — is that oil paints require a ventilated area.
Oil-based paints hold many dangerous safety issues, and solvents such as distilled spirits and turpentine fill the room with contaminants if no airflow is available. But, if your budget for a ventilated studio space is too small, or if you just want to paint in your kitchen or living room, the acrylic painting landscape simple is a perfect option.

If they are water-based, there is not that many in there that gives off fumes, and with them, you don’t have to use solvents.
Though in danger or discomfort, you might be trying to wash oil paints from your palms, acrylics are better on the eyes. In addition to cost, their protection is another reason why acrylic paints are used so widely in classrooms.
Reason #2: Your paintings will transform into sculptures
Another tricky feature of acrylics is their tendency to take three-dimensional form. The object of oil paint, aquarelle, or wax-based paint is to be applied to a surface and to stay on it.

Jack Whitten, a popular acrylic painter, also collaged pieces of acrylics onto his canvases, taking their reflectivity, clarity, and color into consideration.
Whitten, like many many artists, sees a tried and tested advantage in a way that is more flexible than any other method of painting, and not just oils.

This book is by far the best and most comprehensive book on landscape painting I’ve ever used. This is one that you will refer to again and again as an invaluable reference. He describes complex concepts in clear and concise language. I’ve also read Carlson’s Guide to Landscape Painting which is supposed to be THE CLASSIC, but I found the outdated language confusing and the lack of color pictures didn’t help to illustrate the concepts. Mitchell Albala has all the information of that other book and more and it is clearly explained in contemporary terms with excellent photos.

Written clearly by a thoughtful author, it has excellent information that every artist needs. Not condescending or simplistic, the book makes you think about all the things that should be considered to create an excellent painting, without being a step-by-step instruction book. A selection of different artists’ work is used to illustrate different points which, to me, is more interesting than just seeing an author’s. Open the book anywhere & there is that bit that you knew at one time and forgot. The book is my years of learning condensed between two covers. It never goes back on the shelf.

This was a great find for me. It brought together all the best instruction on painting the landscape into one practical and informative book. The illustrations are beautiful, and the writing is concise, yet in-depth. It is my go-to book when I have a question about my plein-aire.

If I could give this book 10 stars I would. I have probably read 10 art books in the past year and this is the best one by far. Mitchell Albala explains the fundamentals of creating art in a way that makes sense and gives examples to illustrate. I find myself going back to it again and again. Although the book is written primarily for landscape painting the principles can easily be applied to any subject and to any medium. If you were not lucky enough to go to art school or major in art in college, this book will fill in all the gaps.I know some of the other reviews criticized the book for not having the author’s artwork on the cover. I disagree-the author’s own work is very ethereal and would simply not make a good book cover, it has nothing to do with the author’s own value as an artist. He’s a very talented artist and lucky for us an even more talented art instructor. I would give just about anything to live nearby and take an art class from him. And it takes a confident, wise and student-driven person to use other artist’s work to illustrate a point when he knows it will help his student more than using his own artwork.Thank you, Mr. Albala, for teaching me in this book all the things that my other art instructors didn’t teach me but that I desperately needed to know!
